So I'm in an odd place. I had two classes left before graduation, on MedSurge I had a B average before the Hesi End of Term Exam. The school made the Hesi exam worth 15% of our grade with a cap score. I don't feel we were appropriately prepared. So I didn't make the score, received 0 points and my grade went down two letters, thus I failed the class along with more than half of the class. Administration told us that they knew the test banks had been released and that the Hesi was the only way to ensure we hadn't cheated. Well come to find out the students obtained the Hesi test bank and did cheat. Well they graduated while everyone else failed. So I don't know what to do I'm being punished for not cheating! If you have the right hook up you can get the Hesi test bank.
  2. I have been in the accelerated and transferred to Generic, thinking it would be better. Really, it sucks! I have never seen a more disorganized school.
  3. I am currently in the nursing program last semester. I would go for the BSN. Miami Dade for the most part has bad professors that really don't teach much or don't know the material themselves. I've had really good ones but the don't outweigh the bad ones. The college is now struggling to keep up their NCLEX scores and not loose funds because of the low scores. So they are doing anything to get their rates up. They don't care about the students at all just the school. If you sign up for a clinical b/c its close to your house they usually put you somewhere different. If I knew all this I would've gone somewhere else.
  4. Congrats guys about time right!!! I'm also in accelerated see y'all soon.
  5. I found mdc nursing w no pict is that it?

  8. Mo did you speak to Rebecca, she's like the assistant director.
  9. Peanuter I'm not sure if Rebecca could give u the information by phone. I know it takes a while for them to return calls they are so busy. That's why it took me so long to confirm last term bc I live in Homestead an it's such a mission to go to the medical campus. I get all emails from mdc also but for some reason I just did not get my admission letter last fall? Someone dropped the ball. I do agree w u I didn't see anyone get accepted for pt in round 2. Call 2morrow and ask but make sure to stay on top of it!
  10. Peanuter and Mo16 last semester I never received an email and when I went to the student center I was told I had been admitted. However it was too late and my seat had been given to someone else. I had to reapply for this semester. U need to call or go over there and talk to Rebecca Garcia cattaya. She is very knowledgable and was able to help me. Good luck guys hopefully 2morrow u'll post good news.
