MGH Direct-Entry MSN

Hi! Is anyone else gearing up to apply to the MGH direct-entry MSN program beginning in 2012? I'm currently completing my pre-reqs at bunker hill community college. I'm also studying for the GRE and will be taking in a few weeks, as well as at the end of July. I'm super nervous but eager to apply. MGH is my top choice, but I'm also gonna apply to other programs in MA. I really wanna do a MSN program because I want to be a nurse practictioner. Anyone else in the same boat? :uhoh3:

Anyone know when we can expect to hear anything? I've been wait listed at two and rejected from two. Still waiting to hear from three and I am so anxious!!

Anxiously waiting as well (MGHIHP and Regis). Which were the 4 that you heard back from (if you don't mind me asking)?

I got wait listed at Emory and "second rounded" at Duke, so not quite wait list, but I'm not in yet either. I didn't get into Hopkins and never got an interview invite to Northeastern, so I'm pretty sure how that will end up. Still waiting for MGH, Vanderbilt and Case Western.

Regis regular round decision was supposed to go out at the beginning of this week by regular mail. Mgh predicts the end of next week by regular mail. Good luck all!

Hey guys! Anyone heard yet from MGH? I had my interview at Northeastern last Friday, and they said we will hear mid-March. The interview was so nerve wracking, I'm really scared I messed it up. I haven't heard anything from any other school and I applied to MGH, Simmons, UMASS, and Northeastern. The waiting game is killing me!!!

I didn't get that "email" from MGH a few of you mentioned last week... now I'm super paranoid!! What exactly was in the email?

Hi hale.bale! I also had my interview at Northeastern Friday, it was really nerve-wracking I agree! The email was just regarding some name changes they were making to some of the specialties, I can forward it to you if you PM me your email address.

The waiting game is sooo stressful :)

Nope, nothing yet, but hopefully this week. Does anyone know when classes start? I just found out that I need surgery on my legs that will leave me in a cast and non-weight bearing for around 6 weeks. It probably cannot be scheduled until mid/late April. That leads me into June, with another 6 weeks or so after coming out of the cast to rehab the leg, etc. I'm not sure if I will be able to start nursing school with this operation. Some of the schools I am waiting to hear back from start in May :(.

I called yesterday and MGH plans to mail decisions out Friday, March 9.
