Any Potential Regis College Fall 2012 Students?
Hi!! VHughes - Congrats!! I totally had the same reaction...the envelope was so thin! I had only applied to Regis and MGH...Personally, it was a very easy decision to make. I just found the faculty at Regis to be so much more engaging, responsive, and resourceful during the application process. I think that the program is much more established at Regis, and that the faculty actually takes the time to know each student/applicant. I had attended the admitted student day for the program back in January, and it was such a nice afternoon. It has just been a much more positive experience overall, and the success that the students demonstrate there is also appealing! I hope you decide to join! Vroussel - I think being on the waitlist is still something to be happy/optimistic about! I have heard that they often pull individuals from the list, I will keep you in my thoughts and hope to be classmates with you! I graduated from BU in May 2010 as a PreMed/Health Science major. I worked all of college as a nursing assistant at Beth Israel, and continue to work there per diem to maintain patient hours. After graduating I took a position full-time in plastic surgery research at Mass General, and will work here until mid-August. I have taken a few classes over the last two years (advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology...) to keep my mind working, but was lucky to have completed the prerequisite coursework during my undergrad. Let me know if you have any other questions, and best of luck!! Best, Alexa

Futurewh - Congrats!! I hope you decide to come to Regis! We will be classmates! I actually met with someone in Financial Aid last week, and they said to have your FAFSA filled out asap, along with the Regis College Graduate Financial Aid application. We should receive information in June/July regarding financial aid packages and whatnot.

Thanks for starting the thread back up! Best of luck to everyone with all of their applications/classes/GREs! Did anyone else apply to Regis College early? I was able to get everything in for the early deadline and found out on Christmas Eve that I was accepted! It was a nice Christmas present! I think Pianoman223 is right, seems like we will not hear back from MGH until mid-late March.... Enjoy the holiday weekend!

Hi Everyone! Just found this thread...I applied to the DEN program at MGH about 4 weeks ago now, and I am anxious/excited for the process to begin! I will be taking the GRE's in November (first time). I graduated from BU in January 2010 with a Health Science degree, and shortly after graduating began working in research at MGH full-time in the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery laboratory. I hope this is a great way to keep one another involved throughout this process! Good luck to everyone! Alexa
