MGH Direct-Entry MSN

Hi! Is anyone else gearing up to apply to the MGH direct-entry MSN program beginning in 2012? I'm currently completing my pre-reqs at bunker hill community college. I'm also studying for the GRE and will be taking in a few weeks, as well as at the end of July. I'm super nervous but eager to apply. MGH is my top choice, but I'm also gonna apply to other programs in MA. I really wanna do a MSN program because I want to be a nurse practictioner. Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm in Boston so hopefully I will get it on Saturday. I work all day that day so I'm going to be quite anxious to get home!

Thanks Ally1451! I did apply to other schools and MGH wasn't my top choice, so I'm not totally beating myself up over this. Good luck to you!!

I haven't heard anything either. I know how you feel hale.bale. The first two decisions that I got were wait list, or some version of it.

I live in Boston so that's prob why I heard first. The good news is I'm proof that the decision letters do exist and are en route!@ahm, MGH was initially my top choice, but after learning more about the Northeasten program it became my second. I had my interview at Northeastern 2 weeks ago so I'm eager (and anxious) to hear!

I'm from Boston too...Northeastern had been my first choice but I never heard anything from them. I got accepted to Vanderbilt yesterday, so as of right now that is where I am headed.

mellzie- vanderbilt is an amazing school, and nashville is awesome! i think that is a great choice- would choose it over northeastern if i were you!

I got my letter yesterday as well. Wait listed for the PNP track.

I think I'm going to send them a letter of intention, an updated resume and a "progress report" of sorts from the current class I'm taking that I have an A in. In the meantime, I need to send a deposit to either Simmons or Regis for a spot and then hope to get off the WL. Bummer...but I guess it's better than a rejection!
