3 schools are due till september 30, 2012 validity for accreditation. is there anyone here bound for intake after the said validity? is there anyone here got their offer letter beyond september, especially those 3 schools. IHNA, ACFE, and ETEA...what will happen if they will not be accredited by the time you are about to have your intakes? please give some advice

Thanks! You're right..I had made an inquiry last 2011 and it was 9900. However, when I tried to check their website earlier, they already increased to 10,500 for 2013 intake and it's in January and May. Did they tell you it will be in June? thanks a lot..:)

Someone here in the forum inquired with La trobe and according to them next intake will be on June. Anyway, you can double check to be sure. I also want to enroll in La trobe but June is a very long wait for me.

IHNA, ACFE, ETEA that are due for accreditation until september 30, 2012. anyone here enrolled beyond september? do you think the accreditation of the said schools will be approved?what if your intakes will be on october, november and so forth. what will happen ?can you still register to AHPRA later on . what if the accreditation will be approved by december just in case, your intake will be november. given the time 3 months, november-february. what will happen if the accreditation will be approved by december? give some advice..

hi guys hope somebody who finished his BP at ETEA would be able to help me. i have + ppd but normal chest result. my doctor said that it expected to have + as we are healthcare providers and very much exposed to tb patients. now my question is, would I be having any problems with ETEA if i show + ppd?

Most HC workers are exposed to PTB hence +PPD. I don't think you'll have any problems with that. After all, a +PPD is not definitive for PTB. :)

Congrats! Where did you send your application? Based on what I've read, Western Australia takes a long time to respond. Is that true? :)

I've gone through the AGOS-40 and most requirements there were clear. I'm working on my CV at the moment, and I think it's finished. (I tried to stick to the guidelines) Can anyone send me a copy of his/her CV so I could just compare?

ermm, i think it is true. i submitted my application at WA and it took 4 months before i received my LOE. while those who submitted at VIC, it only took them 1 month.

for those going to etea, how do we get the Australian Police Check requirement indicated in the letter offer?

they wouldnt tell you the date and time of the interview so you have to be ready since they can call you anytime :)

Hi, I just would like clarify some information regarding the 457 visa. According to the new update from the immigration website, they will now require IELTS for the 457 applicants. In our case, during the initial registration in AHPRA to be eligible to study in Australia, we have to submit our IELTS. My case officer told me that once I get enrolled in a school, i would not need to get an IELTS again since I have already submitted that during the initial application. However, since my IELTS will expire during the course period, I am worried about it once an employer applies for my 457 visa in the future. What do I do? Can someone please enlighten me. Some of my friends who also got expired IELTS were not asked to resit the exam and they were given 457 visas.

Ielts7 was always required for fora457 visa an english requirement has always been required and if it wasfor a profession that required a certain standard then a ielts of that was required.

That was until July this year, not sure what is happening now. You have been lied too.

AHPRA however do not seem to be phased if you have an out of date english assessment when registering.

so if this is the case, as long as i have ielts during the initial application with ahpra, even if it's expired already it would be okay for as long as i can provide a copy?
