Sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I haven't had much time to log on.
I had my first exam on Tuesday. Thankfully, I pulled off an 88. I studied about 3 hours the night before the exam.
The last few weeks have been CRAZY! We lost my Grandmother-in-Law the day after Christmas and my Dad on December 30th.
With the state of mind I have been in lately, I am VERY thankful for my B!!
Good luck Everyone!

The first test is always the hardest, you did great! Sorry about your Grandmother -in-law and your dad. that's tough!
I had my first class today.....I have never been so terrified in all my life. My professor told everyone that there will be a widespread epidemic of bird flu within the next five years:o . I wanted to cry right there in class:crying2: . He said that they are only making 2 million vaccines to be given to military and medical personnel. Well, that is well and good because I will be a nurse by then, but what about my children? I am so freaked out by this. Anyone have a similar discussion in class?
My prof said the opposite. Although there is always the possibility, it will be rare. Right now, it is only a virus that can be spread from bird to bird. So a bird coughing in your face (picture that:rotfl: ) wouln't transfer a virus that your body would find viable. The people that have come down with the birdflu, are the ones that handle the poultry as a career. They are exposed to the cute little fuzzy wuzzys for long hours every day. Of couse it is scarry, knowing we are the first line of defense, but hopefully, if that day comes, we will have the correct fighting tools. Either that, or I'll be going back to doing mortgages!!:rotfl:
hello everyone!:)
i need some advice for this coming spring semester; i will be taking both A+P I and Microbiology at the same time....do you guys think it's doable? on top of it i'll also be taking a nutrition class. :uhoh21: i left myself with 2 days for studying and the rest for classes and work (part time) back to back.
Please kindly give me some advice or tip for studying, and please if you would, share your opinion if it is better to take A+P I & II first before taking micro??:stone ( I needed to take it all at the same time becuz micro is not offered in summer and i need it as an pre-req for an accelerated program this fall)
iam just nervous becuz i didn't want to end up not doing well for both of those classes if i could not handle them at the same time.
thanks in advance!

Good luck. I'm glad I got A&P I and II out of the way. :)
