I am new to allnurses and just was curious what everyones usernames mean. I know there are previous thread for this but I figured there have been some username changes and new members since then.
As you can see my username is Flightless and its just short for flightless bird AKA penguin which are my favorite animal lol I had a hard time trying to pick a username that was unique but didn't give me away! Haha!
I'm a fan of Tolkien and of wandering (mega road trip planned this fall with friends from another state and another country [emoji1]) and I'm a registered nurse.

Ah, a topic dear to my heart ! I was in the information gathering stage back in 2007, so I picked my dogs first and middle name ( she was christened by an 8 yr old girl, so...) figuring I would likely never be back so who cared ?
Well, I got addicted to this place and just recently decided to go back and finish my pre-reqs and am now about to enter an ADN program this fall ! And, I'm stuck with this ridiculously sweet and flowery name ! I was a punk rocker in the day, and even now in my 40's I'm still more likely to be found in all black, leather, boots and sunglasses. I will NEVER EVER wear floral printed scrubs, lol, but here I am stuck with my sugary sweet flower name. Ah well, Farawyn called me Double D once and though it certainly doesn't fit if were talking cup size I'm going to go with it !
