MDC Spring 2012 :)

Hi guys!

I was hoping to get to know some of the people that will be applying to the Spring 12 nursing program.

I've been following the MDC Fall 2011 =) thread and I'm super excited for them, but now I'm even more excited since this time it's finally me who is applying to the nursing program.

So...who else is applying???? :redbeathe

I received my acceptance letter for part time!!!!! i'm in shock and shaking!!!

Sports fan: My Teas score was 72 and Natural Science GPA is 3.2

my qualifying score was 75.2

Hello Carisma, i too got accepted for the upcoming term. By the time i submitted my acceptance letter (1day after i got the email), the seats were full!! ....so i will be doing it online. Were you able to get a seat in the face-to-face class? IF you are interested in swapping PLEASE let me know. I am a little nervous about doing this online, since i much rather the traditional face-to-face option. What nursing advisement told me was: all theory is online. Tests and midterms are on campus. Clinicals are either 2 weekdays 4pm-9pm OR i weekday 7-7 OR every saturday thru-out the program. Either way, you should call, or go to the campus (just in case i misunderstood )

I decided to go with the online bridge option as I am currently working full time (mortgage, car notes, kids etc...). I accepted my spot on 10/24/11, and I was told that I was the 1st to sign on for the online option; I was afraid that so few students would select the online option, that they would be forced to cancel the online program for that semester, as it has been known to happen in the past. A week after I signed on for the online option, I received an acceptance letter for the generic part-time. I went ahead and declined that seat as well. I have my concerns about the online option, but it is really the best option for me at this time. Its only 3 semesters, so I will hunker down and make the most of it. I am currently brushing up on pharmacology because it has always been somewhat of a challenge for me.

I hope that you are successful in finding someone to swap with. If not, I guess I'll see you at orientation.

Just got my acceptance letter today!!!!! Massive amount of stress off my back with this good news. I got in to the Homestead Campus.

I literally broke down in to tears and damn near fainted lol. Of course my mom would be the one to take a picture of it and told me that if I ever try to act up like a grown man she would show everyone this picture lol!

Can't wait!!!!!!!
