MDC Nursing spring 2014

Published

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Yayy October is almost here I cant wait.I hope to have u all as classmates.

I called the medical campus today to ask when they would be sending out emails and they said late October to early November. I soon its sooner though cause this wait is killing me lol.

I hope they are just covering their bases and telling us late October/ early Novemeber so that we don't all freak out and call when we don't receive our emails on the 15th. Our anxious hearts couldn't handle seeing mid October coming and going without finding out.

I hope it's in October. We need ample time to prepare for January!

November?!? That's crazy! Lets cross our fingers thats not the case.

They usually started in mid October.

Hi all! Wanted to join in on this thread. I applied for spring 2014 generic, my teas was 88%, with 4.0 GPA. I am very excited to start the program!!! Right now I am doing the additional BSN requirements at Wolfson and checking my email constantly, even though I know it isn't time yet for acceptance letters. Looking forward to meeting you all in January!

Welcome.....wow what a GPA you already in my dear.

Welcome aqeelsman. You have a strong gpa

Hi all! I just wanted to join in on the last few weeks of nail biting. I have applications into the accelerated and generic full time programs. I've spoken to a few people who have scared me away from the accelerated program. I was wondering if anyone has an opinion. I'd love to get in and get out, but flunking would be catastrophic...

I know what you mean. I, too applied to both. I was leaning towards accelerated before speaking to people. Even here in the forum I see comments like "accelerated is for finishing faster, not getting good grades". I want to eventually do my BSN so bad grades are not an option. As of now, I'm leaning towards the genetic FT out of that same fear of flunking out. It is only one more semester. Better safe than sorry, right?

Haha ...generic*

It's October!!!!!! Hopefully we find out this month :-)
