So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.
So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.
Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!
@ jennythebenny. They will send just acceptance emails. So make sure you check your MDC email regularly come mod October. They give those people a week or two to accept their seats. Then they send a second round of acceptance emails to fill any open spots. Once all seats are filled they will proceed to send rejection letters.
hello everyone i am new to this stuff. I didnt know forums like this existed. it would have been helpful to find this before the whole application process because i was so lost!!! okay so i also applied for the Spring 2014 Nursing program at miami dade. My GPA has always been good so i think for the sciences i should be at a 3.5 if not higher. (although other people have perfect gpa, i think mine is also okay!) however my teas test was horrible!!! i got a score in the 60'si dont know what happen that day i think i just panicked and couldnt do the exam correctly. since i took it in august there was no option to do another one so i ad no choice but to apply with that score. i am HOPING & PRAYING that i get accepted. So i guess im waiting for a letter too? here is my questions, if anyone could help me. Do people only get acceptance letters or is there denial letters too? Also, how do we get the response? through mail or email?? and last but not least about how much is the program really? i have been hearing all types of prices and would just like to know an estimate because i dont receive financial aid or anything like that.[/quote']
My cousin recently finished the program and told me to expect tuition to be ~$10,000.
I hope so too. I applied for the bridge full-time but I do not see a lot of post in regards to that program. I know last year prior to me applying the advisor told me cut off was a teas score of 70.
I thought the cut off was based on your overall (teas + gpa). Are the cut off just based on the teas only? Am lost :/
