apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....
im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......
what materials are you using to study for infection control? i only have saunders 3rd ed, and it seems limited...
by the way, i came up with this acronym to remember the diseases under droplet precaution. just think of spiderman!

d - diphtheria (pharyngeal)

ZIAGEN is the brand name for abacavir sulfate, a synthetic carbocyclic nucleoside analogue with inhibitory activity against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
ZIAGEN Tablets are for oral administration. Each tablet contains abacavir sulfate equivalent to 300 mg of abacavir as active ingredient and the following inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium starch glycolate. The tablets are coated with a film that is made of hypromellose, polysorbate 80, synthetic yellow iron oxide, titanium dioxide, and triacetin.

Abciximab, ReoPro , is the Fab fragment of the chimeric human-murine monoclonal antibody 7E3. Abciximab binds to the glycoprotein (GP) lIb/Ilia receptor of human platelets and inhibits platelet aggregation. Abciximab also binds to the vitronectin (avb3) receptor found on platelets and vessel wall endothelial and smooth muscle cells.
