May Nclex takers...come and join hands...

i really want to pass this exam! im tired of seeing other people in the field and knowing that im just an exam behind them. it kills me not having the RN and not practicing it. i dont want to fail anymore. ive done this test twice....i dont want to take it for the 4th time or more....

okay everybody, i'm up to bat on may 5th for the 4th time. i feel confident that i will pass this time, but a little support and prayer wouldn't hurt! i've been using suzannes plan, and hopefully that will get me through it this time!!!! good luck and best wishes to all of us may test takers!

i hear ya jax girl ...

just had dinner last night with a bunch of freinds from school--all of whom, passed. These people are the ones i was HELPING in nursing school to pass exams-studting etc...-it just proves to me yet again, the nclex is not about "intelligence" or "nursing Knowledge" or even commen sense. it just being able to pick out the answer "they" want you to.--it just sickens me to see some nurses and think "how did they become a nurse ?"---you all know the ones.

-my father in law just had his hand cut off in a work accident and my wife and i were in the hospital with him, and the RN put the blood pressure cuff on the arm with the amputation !--my wife (who is an RN)--we were like "uhh, you might want to use the other arm"--she became defensive and said "oh, why ?" and we were like "cause thats the arm with the injury ?"--she said "oh yea !"--(duh)

or worse yet the RN's, that we all see that are just either "burnt out", simply in nursinf for the money or worse just bad people with no compasion for anyone.--like i said--we all have seen it.

yea.

I WILL pass this test this time,

i hear ya jon!

i had classmates in college that slept and took many remedial tests just to pass nursing school...and when it came to taking the nclex, they only took it once...on the other hand, during my college days i studied hard, had no sleep and never did any remedial class/test to get my diploma. i passed because i studied and worked hard for it...

last night it dawned to me that its not about the money anymore that comes with being an RN...dont get me wrong, i love money (haha!) but right now its more of the fulfillment of being a nurse and not a failure anymore. i dont want to be a failure anymore...just tired of it...

...thats the thing jaxgril, i USED to think i was a failure to, but now i realize its not me...its the test.--

#1 i obviously know my "stuff" cause i passed nursing school, we started with 88 students and graduated 65.-- A LOT of A students failed out

#2 I know how to do the job, i worked as an SNI and as RNIP--i was the only IP "cut" loose on his own, i also got max on my first eval at work, most veteran nurses dont get that..sooo i know its not my "skills" either or id be fired-

sooo the only thing ..it has to be the test...my nerves, or mabye having to turn my brain "off" for the nclex i dunno ?

Im gonna start flipping a coin from now on.

...on a good note, my kaplan scores have gone up-- :)

hello guys i will take my exam on the 28th and it will be my second and last try... right now i am doing kaplan and saunders but i will stop my kaplan coz in my first exam it didn't help me that much... sorry kaplan... i hope saunders does...
