Hi everyone. I was originally going to take the NCLEX-PN in April but rescheduled to May 10th. I was not nearly done with my study plan. First time taking the test.
I am doing Saunders and reviewing the content as well as doing the questions first. I just have pediatrics left and mental health and the 500 pharm questions.
I also work full time 12 hr shifts so can't do any Q's when I get home. I just spend a little time with the family and then go to bed :)

Right now I'm on question trainer 4 out of 7....I'm to the point where I'm not even answering them, I'm guessing just to get through it. I suppose the notes I'm taking is what's making this so time consuming. I'm taking notes based on things I never even heard of, which is alot.:lol_hitti
Question: To those of you who took the kaplan, did you read the whole book(I read half) AND got through all the videos(lectures)/question review, ALL of it in time? Any feedback is appreciated.![]()
Hey Jax Girl thanx!
Do you think the kaplan nclex question book(s) are just as good as the online trainers/qbank? Are they similar in difficulty? Because for me, the qbank/trainer questions are very difficult and I think those kinds of q's are good to learn from in addition to the questions that are moderate in difficulty which I have found Saunders q's to be(haven't done any of the new 4th edition questions from Saunders yet, I'm saying from what I remember from the older edition.) I don't have any newer versions of kaplan just 2003/04 which I'm not going to even use since they're outdated.
I am doing the Saunders CD 4th right now, the study level, I am almost done with it and i am planning to do the exam after that. I am doing that the whole day if I have no kids to attend to here in school. then around 6 pm, I am starting to study the book for the second time. After my saunders, I am planning to take the learningtext 3 week study, i headrd its more like the actual nclex test.

honestly, im taking my test on the 7th of may but i think i might resked. i dont know. i didnt finish the last chapter of the kaplan book but i finished all the review of questions. i have 15 days to finish test 1-7 of kaplan and the qbank before it expires. when im answering q's, i first start highly motivated but as i come to the end, i get tired and i just start guessing so i can get done with it. ur not the only one. i really want to pass this exam but sometimes the motivation just slips away.....well, this week, no more slacking, i need to start focusing really on the practice q's....good luck!!! hope my motivation can keep up with me....huhuhu!!!!![]()
