Hi december, in my own understanding, we shld give them low prot diet because this illnesses both have fluid overload. And there is protienuria due to excess protein in their system, that is why it is indicated in their urinalysis. Please correct me if my point of view is wrong... :)
tp prevent azotemia and fluid retention (saunders 4th edtion)
" got a question regarding nephrotic syndrome and glomerulonephritis. i read in saunder's that both should have low protein diet, i can't figure out why since both have proteinuria..can someone explain this to me please? thanks!

I took my NCLEX on the 28th of May. I got 75 questions and after 2 agonizing days I found out I passed. I got on the Ohio Board of Nursing web site and found out they had assigned my RN number. Hang it there folks. It will all work out in the end. Can anyone tell me if you get 75 is that considered and "automatic" pass? I only ask because everyone I have talked to that got 75 questions passed on that attempt. This was my first try and I thank God I passed. Good luck to every one of you.
