Hi i am a nurse and I have a latex allergy 5 years . It started suddenly and was really surprising. I had local reaction but with a time it increased to difficulty breathing and edema of whole body. Now, I am working in ICU and all my hospital is latex-free, but I am always remanding to my coworkers about this because our sterile gloves still with latex. I haven't problem with my stethoscope or other staff. You can work with this but need to be careful not only in your working place but also in your everyday life. I always have my antihistamine with me and always asking about latex. Don't worry, we like other nurses belong to the risk group for latex allergy, but we know about this and can prevent shock or other reactions.

Not really , I know a lot of people but they have their own friends and I haven't such coworker. I know that I need to talk with somebody but ....

Thank You. I said to preceptors and other co-workers and they are trying speak clearly but I am afraid don't understand important things in the critical situations or during the Pt's admission. It's hard , but I am trying. Some of my preceptors really wonderful but others let me knew that I am only little peace and I need to say thanks every minute for their patients. I feel bad but can't do with this nothing. What I need to do in this situation?

Hi all, I am an international nurse that started my job in the USA. I am living here only 8 months and working only 2 months ( still orientation). Everything Ok , but sometimes I don't understand my co-workers because of English, I don't know slang and abbreviation and I feel very bad with this. I try to learn all this stuff but it's really confusing and difficult. I have good preceptor but she can't understand my problem. Maybe somebody can help me with advice or has such experience like me. Thank You:crying2:

i did nclex in 30-th i don't know what to think , there were 91 question may be 92 and many multiple, 3 calculation, and grafics, and i am in shock

what do you think about kaplan online NCLEX-RN Online Book Companion i found this question and don't knew spent my time or not?
