I graduated from KCMA in April. I took the Mark Klimek class and was very impressed. It fills you with a sense of "I can do this." My NCLEX gave me very few questions that I could use his techniques with. Now I might be wrong and I just didn't ap...
Thanks for your input. I was by no means suggesting that 75 is an automatic pass. It's what I have been told by many nurses. I too know of at least one person who took 75 and failed. The NCLEX is a test that's hard. There's no two ways about it....
I felt the same way. I was in disbelief when I saw I had passed. The only problem now is what to do? I still have this nagging feeling I should be studying. I got a new magazine in the mail today and thought "wow, I can read this without feeling ...
I took my NCLEX on the 28th of May. I got 75 questions and after 2 agonizing days I found out I passed. I got on the Ohio Board of Nursing web site and found out they had assigned my RN number. Hang it there folks. It will all work out in the en...
In my final semester we had to turn in 150 NCLEX questions per week. They had to be in one lump. We were not allowed to break them up so we got used to taking long stretches of questions.
I'm from Dayton, Oh and I am graduating on Saturday, the 26th. I took Mark Klimek's review and he advised us that if the pH and bicarb are the same it metabolic if opposite respiratory. Same thing I guess.

I have used the cheapo $20.00 'scopes and trust me, you get what you pay for. I currently own a Littman Cardio III and it was well worth the $180.00 I spent. You can hear breath sounds through the chest of a 500 pounder a lot better with it than th...

Your course should have a syllabus. Use it to read ahead. Read small chunks of material then reread them again later. You will be surprised at how much you remember. Flash cards are good too. I'm 45 and graduate in April with my ADN. I have had...

My class of 65 had 5 men. All straight. Three are now gay. HEHE. Just kidding. I have yet to meet any male nurse that is gay. I work as an aide in Labor and Delivery and I am straight as an arrow. No one says anything about gay nurses where I...
My school requires all student's to be STNA's prior to starting nursing classes. It's helpful to be an aide first so you have some idea of what they go through as well as how to do patient care. 89 days to graduation. Yea me!
