Maricopa Spring 2016 Block 1 students

So we all should have heard weeks ago about our placement now I wanted to start a place for the preparation for Block 1.

I know Fall semester still needs to start and end before we can even get to block 1, but hey I'm to excited.

How is everyone doing getting situated for the universitys?

When is everyone thinking about starting the stuff that needs to be done for Maricopa (I.e. medical papers, titer tests, CPR)?

Oh okay. I just noticed they changed days on some. Thanks for info my student center is acting up.

I don't remember if there's anyone with Estrella on this board here. But has anyone with EMCC been told when we will be registered for classes by the advisor? I cannot get a hold of her or get any reply from her which is so frustrating. I need to fill out the consortium agreement for financial aid ASAP and can't do that til I'm registered for classes. So has anyone heard when that will be?

I really haven't looked for the books. I was thinking of ordering the skills bag and scrubs and books after our meeting on the 17th. I think they will give us more details or maybe tips on who is the cheapest you know.

I have scrubs, and ordered the pack already. I have most books except the med Surg now. But I'm wanting hear from anyone about the ATI learning package. What is it? Several books? Electronic? Approx costs.

Anyone know about ATI?

I know what you mean. I'm just a big planner when it comes to my school stuff, so I have everything planned out. I'm a big geek and made an excel spreadsheet of my ASU classes and GCC classes with their projected books :p

Hi quick ? The books that you all referring to are they pertaining to all block 1 students for Maricopa county?

Cause I had orientation on Monday for SCC (Block 1 start Jan 2016) & we were told that curriculum was chging & required books are different from past semesters/blocks

So each school usually has different sets of books. The books I have gotten are on Fall 2015 cohort list and I haven't spent more than 60 on the 4 books I have gotten so far. They are also books that I think would be good reference books if they aren't ones that will be required for our cohort.

Do you have the AT I on your list of material required? It's a program that is to be purchased.. Kinda expensive!!!

Not that I have been told. I have no idea what that may be. I don't have orientation till the 18th of Dec. And haven't heard from the school about anything yet. Still waiting for them to post what spring books will be.

Yes. A student in fall sent the list to me and it's $700 program! Crazy!
