Maricopa Spring 2016 Block 1 students

So we all should have heard weeks ago about our placement now I wanted to start a place for the preparation for Block 1.

I know Fall semester still needs to start and end before we can even get to block 1, but hey I'm to excited.

How is everyone doing getting situated for the universitys?

When is everyone thinking about starting the stuff that needs to be done for Maricopa (I.e. medical papers, titer tests, CPR)?

Does anyone else's application status page say anything else besides that yes and your application has been processed? Also is there any other site where our program info is updated? Or just the app status page

Mine says that too.

It should tell you near the bottom that they received the hard copy of your acceptance intent and the date. But nowhere else that I know of will it update status info.

Did you get your welcome packet via email?

You will need to go register next if you have, so in the next few weeks you will get another packet in your "student email" giving specifics to uniform, schedule, etc.

If you haven't got it and you sent out letter of intent in (hard copy) than I would call asap to get the packet.

I did my acceptance by the net and sent it in. I got the welcome email with all the paper we need to register . I am going to register soon. I didn't get anything in the mail. The hard copy you mention that's the same as the first packet that includes the vaccinations or is it different?

Your not missing anything. I was told when I registered to save all my papers in a packet because during orientation we will be told how to upload all the forms (vaccinations, tB, etc..) to a website. I wasn't told which website but I'm sure it's just to help keep all items in a easy to locate area. I think it may be the background site bc you can keep a "profile" that possible employers can have access to. But don't quote me on that.

When you register or at orientation you will find out.

Estrella's email said that the process for health docs would be new for this semester and that we'd be uploading them to the background check website. It doesn't have to do with the background check itself but if you go to their site there is a part where you can upload medical docs. I haven't done so yet (waiting for further instructions from school).

Sounds like other schools have said the same thing also.

Looks like 3rd placement just happened!! Anyone get placed? If so, will you pretty please post your time stamp info and school and what number choice it was for you? Thank you and congratulations!!!!

When I meant hard copy i was meaning the paper copy you had to mail or fax back to the school.

Registration is the next thing you have to do. :)

Some schools are not sending it out, probably for confusion reasons. You will find out when you register at MCC. She will tell you then. :)

My doctor just signed all those vaccinations papers today. Registration is next! Is it super busy there? Curious cuz I have to go before work and want to ensure that I have enough time. Thank you I also got my flu shot today which I wasn't planning but because you told us on here I got it before going to register! Thanks for the heads up

It wasn't busy at all. It was just me. There was only 4 other people who had signed up in the list. So I think it will just be people trickling in till the due date. :)

Okay.. Haven't posted really--- I'm on wait list since Feb time stamp- GCC traditional-- Still haven't been called yet.... Any one for traditional GCC ( weekends) or ( nights and weekends) been placed yet?
