Maricopa date/time stamp 2016

Published

I just submitted my application with a time stamp of 1/7/16 159. I see there are alot of really long threads from last year, I wanted to start one for this year and have a place for pre-nursing students to post with information thats up-to-date.

I hope so! Waiting has been so exhausting. Lol I hope that boosts your application! That would be great.

Yes it sure has! I really wish their system was up to date to check our status or at least so we could see where we were on the list of being placed..would put a lot of people at ease.. I am going to have to move from CA to AZ so I am extremely anxious to know my fate!

I think the people who have a time stamp as of January 31st will be placed but, I am not entirely sure. I have a time stamp of 12/08/15 and I am really just anxious and hoping to all hell I get placed on March 31st. I barely missed the deadline last time so I have my fingers crossed.

good luck to you! Yeah i missed the last deadline because they were taking absolutely forever to review my transcripts and input my transfer credits into the system. so now i have a timestamp of 2.16.16.

Hello,

I had received an email a few days ago from the maricopa nursing program stating that placement would be for fall 2016 with the maricopa nursing program.

That wouldn't be CEP then. You could start your BSN classes in block 3 with NAU.

Yes, I know. I submitted my CEP application anyways contemplating if I want to do UIU. I am also keeping the option open for doing the regular maricopa program and entering in NAU as a mid-AAS because I wont have pathophys done by the May 31st deadline.

Ok, I just wanted to be sure you were getting correct information. With the system being down and the changes they are doing, some of the advisors are out of the loop. I'm currently in the UIU CEP so if you have any questions about it, you can message me. :)

My time stamp is from 8/6/2015 sooooo hopefully it will be my time to finally start nursing school!! It's frustrating not hving access to the webpage! SO many questions! Is placement going to be once a week like last semester or is all going to be done on March 31??

From my understanding it's going to be all done by end of this month and people should know by April. It sounds like they still have some August time stamps that didn't get placed during the last cycle, so I am assuming they are going to place you first. Honestly....I am still really confused by their placement process, and it seems like a lot of the advisors are also out of the loop. I applied end of September but did not get my time stamp until almost 3 months later which I thought was kind of lame. They said at the time I applied that they had already chosen their spring semester students and that my cohort would most likely be for fall 2016......all I can do is keep my fingers crossed at this point lol.

What campuses did you choose?

Get used to it. They will never give you a straight answer or they change it every other day lol I have always felt in the dark in regards to the process. I chose mcc, cgcc and scc for all day and eve options available. I don't care too much where I go as long as I get to start this fall!!

Placement will most likely take weeks as not everyone accepts the spots so they'll up again they have to run placement again. Good luck all.

no worries, thank you!!

--thanks im still contemplating UIU but it seems like a good choice since I have a higher degree they are waiving about 4 classes.

yeah placement does take weeks because people get called up to even three weeks before class starts so even if you don't get placed, there is still hope!!(:
