I just submitted my application with a time stamp of 1/7/16 159. I see there are alot of really long threads from last year, I wanted to start one for this year and have a place for pre-nursing students to post with information thats up-to-date.
Has anyone been placed?? I have an email about the website being down with a quote saying "fall 2016 placement will continue and is scheduled to be completed by march 31." Is placement already happening? Anyone know?
I havent been placed. I emailed to ask what time stamp ranges they were even placing and they said it isn't in any order, its completely randomized..which makes me feel a little better since I have a timestamp from this year LOL.
yes thats correct timestamps don't matter as much as you'd think. But I'm sure they take in into consideration. I know someone who's been waiting since June last year and still nothing. the time stamps are all not when you get the stamp but when you turn the application in. And it is fair because its the community college route and its not competitive.
No, I think they meant that they are continuing as scheduled. The wording is a little confusing. I called earlier this week and she said they are planning to start placement on the 30th, and that it will happen as it has in the past, meaning it will go in rounds. The first placement will begin next week and will likely continue for 1-2 months until all of the spots are filled. As of earlier this week, they were still waiting on a couple of schools to tell them how many spots are available before they begin the first placement. Good luck everyone!

Where did you see that you can start the NAU classes in block three? I have been trying to locate this info on the website, but with no luck. My timestamp is Oct 2015 (not sure the exact day) and if selected this Spring, I'll have to make some decisions. I really want to do the CEP (will be applying in May), I have been looking forward to that program since I applied, but I also want to get started on the actually Nursing part ASAP. Decisions. Decisions. :/
