Hi guys,

I am in my last 8 months of an 18 month program and I seem to have lost my steam! I am doing fine and passing but I am having a hard time motivating myself to study and do my homework. It's getting done but with an amazing amount of procrastination.

Anyone else having this problem? Any strategies to share?

Ditto! I have a little over one month too go and cannot take much more. I just finished my LAST CARE PLAN (for school anyway)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:balloons: I have one more paper to write and that is it for work, well besides trying to acutally study for tests. Good luck.

Amen to that...I'm done in three weeks and we had our last lecture this morning. It was sort of bittersweet. There is still tons of stuff due, and 48 more hours of clinicals, but at least I don't have to worry about sitting through any more 8 hour lectures in nursing school!!

We graduate in May, we still have class and clinicals. BUT our class is LOUD. evryone wants to chit chat and no one wants to pay attention. Our instructor said it will only get worse, the closer we get to graduation.

Two more days of clinical left next week. careplan and formal patho paper finished.

Then it's 96 hours of practicum.

I honestly have to say the past two tests in med-surg III . i didn't study that much. I was too busy thinking of graduating. But i still did well on both tests.

we have 6 weeks of school left (thats about 6 class days left after Halloween). My class is getting antsy too, to the point where fights are breaking out. A lot of the students have had a attitude all year that needed to be checked along time ago but its been doable. However every clinical group but mine so far has had major blow outs, and my project group almost got into a fist fight yesterday about absolutely nothing. :trout:The chatting and the phones/texting are bad too, its just so hard to concentrate around those who really don't care anymore. :angryfire

Yep, Amen to that!! I have about 7 months left and I am so ready to be done it isn't even funny. If you find a trick to it, let me know...I'm stumped on how to get beyond Senioritis!
