Ruby Jane Jr. had a party last weekend and we had a lot of junk food left over so I bundled it up in Halloween baskets and gave these to the custodial supervisor and the cafeteria staff. The lunch ladies legitimately teared up. They work SO hard (they do breakfast in the classroom, which is just slightly less difficult an endeavor than moving an army from place to place) and they never get recognized for it. They never let anyone go hungry. I have resolved to do more for them.
That's so sweet! I thought this post was going to go an entirely different direction...I mean, I've made a teacher cry...but it was with my nursey voice lol.
