there's a forum for graduate students. how about a forum for lpn to rn students. there seems to be quite a few people that are doing this, it might be nice to have a forum for it.
admin note: i've added the new forum in the nursing student sub section
https://allnurses.com/forums/f233/
great idea! enjoy!

I think that will be a grreat idea. We can offer each other advice and much needed encouragement. What will we have to do to get the ball rolling?????????
Generate interest, show that there are plenty of people interested in getting this.

Even though this really doesn't pertain to me , I'd be in favor of an LPN-RN forum. Several of my classmates and friends are LPN's going on to RN.

And there are plenty of us who have gone through it that can help with support and advice maybe. Especially after completion,, is different than just becoming a new RN,, different hurdles to get over, and different set of problems that go along with it.

I also think this would be a good thread. I am LPN that is back in school in the RN program. I think we could offer each other ideas and support.
And it would make it easier to find threads specific to the bridge programs.

Count me in!
So does anyone know how to make it offical. Is there someone to email , have we generated enough intrest. I think the forum is needed and is very appropriate. I was talking to a nurse on the floor I work clinical on for school and she was an Lpn who went back to school to get her ADN. She stated that 1/3 of all lpns go back to school to become Rn.
