i am just curious regards to the starting rate of pay for newly LPN grads upon hire in all and many different states here in the US. I am currently in mcallen, tx. but i plan to move around to different states to see where i like to work best so I would like to know the different rates of pay for different states.
$21.50/hour for hospital/public health LTC.Private LTC/nursing homes can be either lower or much higer, depending on the demand in that home. One private nursing home that was really poorly run and going through staff turnover constantly offered $35/hour for LPN's to hire them!!! Although I think this was just a short term contract wage to get them in the door. Same nursing home RNs $60/hour!!!
This is for the Okanagan in BC, Canada
Do you know tha pay for Lpn in other part of Canada like Montreal? And do they hire lpn?
Hi.So does anyone know what the starting wages in New York are for new LPNs?
HI!! I live and work in Westchester County.
Hospital = $22 - $25 an hour, although most hospitals aren't hiring LPNs around here right now.
LTC = $25 - $30 an hour.
Agency = $28 - $35 an hour.
Home care = $26 - $35 an hour.
Not great when you consider what the cost of living is around here.
I'm a new LPN and work in a small hospital in Indiana...Pay is $14 for day shift...$14.75 for 3-11 and $15.25 for 11-7...I'm not sure what LPN's make in ltc facilities or in home health...Dr's offices and clinics mostly hire CMA's which I was before I earned my LPN and the pay is about $10 an hour starting out...
I've been reading through payrates for many different states but I did not see any information for pay rates in orlando, florida. I will be starting a nursing program in August with Orlando tech and would like to know what new grads currently making in this area. I'll keep my fingers cross for good news!
