If that rumor is true, that would be great. I bet a lot of applicants were "gun shy" after what happened last round with the screw up with the GPAs. Also, since the GPAs were so high last time, many probably did not bother to apply and activated backup plans, I applied to both Northlake/El Centro and Brookhaven/Mountainview, did not want all my eggs in one basket again.
The low turnout at El Centro could be substantiated by the high applicants at Brookhaven, they were overwhelmed by the number of applicants reportedly at a little over 300. Applicants to El Centro would easily make the requirements at Brookhaven, El Centro requires a lot more.
how did yall hear this rumor. good luck to you all. i didnt apply if you're wondering. that would be good right, then all of you would prob get in. and maybe they will even do late admissions. but who knows. good luck. last year i had friends who got in they had 4.0s and then i had friends who had 3.8 who didnt get in. but one did get called for northlake. the friends im referring to with the 3.8 had the exact same gpa all the way down to the tenth.. but one had one more general ed class than the other. tricky.. but good luck
Trust me i think that is a fake rumor...half of brookhaven students are applying to brookhaven and elcentro....not everyone is putting their eggs into one basket anymore.........I think that this year, there is going to be an overload on both schools cos all my friends in bkhaven applied to elceentro and likewise....but goodluck to yall...hope yall get....i got in last year......
I applied to El Centro/Northlake as well. I really don't have any preferences on whether or not it is El Centro or Northlake...but it would be nice to be at El Centro to just ride the train there instead of driving in crazy traffic all the time!! Either way, I know it will work out! The letters are supposed to come by April 15th, but I made my mind up to get it either the 17th or the 18th! That way, I don't have to go crazy waiting on my acceptance letter.

Hello,
I've been hearing that El Centro's RN program for the Fall 09' semester is having a low turnout of applications. I'm not sure if this information is factual or rumors, but just wondering if any of you have heard anything about that and if so, do you know what the cause is?
Thanks to all!
