Hi Kristin,

Congrats! I applied for the nursing at Los Medanos as well. Do you know how long they will keep the list up and where I can find it? I know it is posted in the nursing department, but not sure where the nursing department is located. I haven't check the list yet since I'm all the way in Richmond.

I'm not sure how long the list will be up~I'm sure you could call to ask. I know they are sending out letters, so if you are able to wait a few days, you could save yourself a trip. The nursing department is the second floor of the admissions office, if you look at a map you will find it. The campus isn't too big, so it's easy to find. Best of luck to you, let me know when you find out!!

Omg! I was accepted to lmc too! Yay us! Congrats! This was my first time applying as well, looks like we're both really lucky! I applied to 7 jc's and almost had lost hope. I was in total disbelief yesterday. Not sure why i am writing in caps. Sorry. I'm not screaming at you, but i am excited! Lol. =)

congratulations!! wow, i didn't know there were that many jc's around to apply at!! where so you live?

yes, we got so lucky, i still can't believe it. i went to work today (i work at john muir hospital) and so many people there had applied 2, 3, or 4 times with still no luck. i feel bad, so i try to not make a big deal about getting in, but i'm still jumping up and down in my head~lol. as soon as i received the letter yesterday i emailed to accept my spot, submitted my teas transcript, ran the background check and did my drug screening. i can't wait to get my big packet with all our enrollment info :)

I am SO excited! I applied all over! Two schools in Sac., San Mateo, SF, and even all the way out in Oroville (it's near Chico). I got my letter in the mail yesterday, too! I live in the Bay Area, in the East Bay. What about you? I submitted everything, just need to do the drug test. Do you know anyone who has gone through the program @ LMC? It IS out time to CELEBRATE *dances around lap top!* LOL! Whooo hooooooo! As excited as I am, I am also nervous. YIKES! =) =)

My friend got in last year and they notified her 2 weeks before school started so I think they update the list until school starts. Unfortunately she dropped from the program during the first semester, during clinicals she found the nursing was way too stressful for her.

I haven't heard anything from LMC. Do they send letters whether you get pick or not? I been looking out for an LMC letter, but nothing so far. It sucks because the evaluator made a mistake from the beginning when I sent in my application with my transcript. The evaluator claimed that I didn't send in all my transcript; however, I received a receipt stating that my transcript is complete. When I got a letter from the evaluator stating that I'm not qualified to apply for the program because of missing transcript, I was ******, thinking I can't believe how incompetent and careless she is. I had drive all the way to LMC to complain. The evaluator was not in, so I was told to contact her.I e-mailed her and cc'd the Dean with a complaint letter. She finally admit that I'm qualified, so she sent me another letter of qualification. She said I would be in the list of applicants. Unfortunately, I could not see the list. Now, I'm worried that she probably never even put me in it, and I had no chance in hell of getting in. Anyways, I just need to vent. I probably didn't get in.
