  1. Thank you!
  2. I need help with this math problem. Prepare 1/4 scalp cleanser using 50mL water as the solvent and medicinal shampoo. What is the total volume? What is the medicinal shampoo volume? The book answer is total volume: 66.7 and Medicinal shampoo volume is 16.7. Please show me how to work this because my answer was totally different from the book.
  3. Aubs, I suggest you find out who your evaluator is and contact her/him. She/he will have a definite answer for you.
  4. I finally got the letter from LMC, and no I didn't get pick this year. :smackingf:cry: I kinda had the feeling that my name didn't get pick. It was meant to be. Again, congrats to all of you who got accepted and Good luck with the LMC nursing program.
  5. Thanks Brighten! I was about to call the school too cause I dont know what's up with that. Anyways, as long as we are in the program, I assume that we are gauranteed a spot in any class? I think I read that somewhere in the CSUEB nursing website. I could be wrong.
  6. Chicahearts, I appreciate your words! I contacted the evaluator, and she said they are still sending out the letters th is week. I wont be able to check my mail until this weekend since I'm out of town, but I'm anxious to find out. All I want to know if I got in or not. It's a lottery system, so I wouldn't be angry if I didn't get in, just disappointed. However, I will be extremely mad if I didn't have the opportunity to get pick because I wasn't included in the applicant pool even though I'm qualified. I applied to two programs: CSUEB and Los Medanos. I should have applied to more than two, but I was late with CCC nursing program. Congrats and Good luck to you all.
  7. I just got my TDAP shot this weekend. My doctor said that it will cover the Diphtheria-Tetorifice shot. I dont think we have to get the booster shot. I still don't have my enrollment date when I logged in to MyCUEB. Is anyone having the same problem?
  8. I haven't heard anything from LMC. Do they send letters whether you get pick or not? I been looking out for an LMC letter, but nothing so far. It sucks because the evaluator made a mistake from the beginning when I sent in my application with my transcript. The evaluator claimed that I didn't send in all my transcript; however, I received a receipt stating that my transcript is complete. When I got a letter from the evaluator stating that I'm not qualified to apply for the program because of missing transcript, I was ******, thinking I can't believe how incompetent and careless she is. I had drive all the way to LMC to complain. The evaluator was not in, so I was told to contact her.I e-mailed her and cc'd the Dean with a complaint letter. She finally admit that I'm qualified, so she sent me another letter of qualification. She said I would be in the list of applicants. Unfortunately, I could not see the list. Now, I'm worried that she probably never even put me in it, and I had no chance in hell of getting in. Anyways, I just need to vent. I probably didn't get in.
  9. Hi Kristin, Congrats! I applied for the nursing at Los Medanos as well. Do you know how long they will keep the list up and where I can find it? I know it is posted in the nursing department, but not sure where the nursing department is located. I haven't check the list yet since I'm all the way in Richmond.
  10. Hi LN1703, Sorry to hear about your situation at CSUEB admission. Your not the only one. It's odd that they asked you to send in your transcript for one class that you took 10 years ago. I took a med term class at a JC this year, and they never asked for that transcript, and I hope they don't ask about it and tell me that they made a mistake with my admission. Then again, I am a returning student. What school did you apply to for the master program? I was planning to attend UCSF Entry Master, if I didn't get accepted at CSUEB. Good Luck with the master program.
  11. raymojai, i just checked all over my student center, but i'm not sure if we are able to see previous transcripts and courses online or i have no idea how to check it online. my previous major was health science, and i'm guessing, i dont have to retake the same courses that are posted in the class list for nursing. i'm probably going to need to speak to my advisor about this. as far as registration date, no i don't see my date and time. all i see is "open enrollment dates", and when i clicked on it, i received a message stating that i don't have access to it right now.
  12. Hi Blitz, This will be my 2nd Bachelor too. I was in the same situation as you just a few weeks ago. I'm accepted to the program, but was not accepted to CSUEB yet. I was waiting for the letter for the longest time and I kept checking online for my status. I could not understand why it would take so long since I turned in my application on October of 2009, and I still haven't heard from them. So, I kept calling and calling in March. Everytime I called, I was told that I was in the process of being evaluated (for that long?!). I was frustrated and fed up, so I went to CSUEB admission and talked to someone there. The registration desk clerk give me a contact number to my evaluator. I called and e-mailed, and she got the job done.
  13. Hi All, I will be going to nursing school soon. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only introvert here. I'm a very quiet and shy person, and I hope that this does not hinder me from becoming a great nurse.
  14. I'm in the same situation as you. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences at CSUEastBay in 2009 as well. I thought about taking ADN program at a community college at Los Medanos; however, community colleges have that lottery system, so pretty much getting in is by chance or luck. In addition, if you do get in, once you have your ADN license, you wont have much choices ei.. promotion ( this is what I've heard) versus having a BSN or MSN. Good luck!
