SCIENCE GPA: 4.0
TEAS ENG: 95th Percentile
TEAS READ: 99th Percentile
OVERALL: 99th Percentile

Hello everyone does anyone know more or less what the point cutoff is for fall 2014? I'm at a 78, wondering if it's even worth applying
It is definitely worth applying. They told me that they accepted applicants last semester from 78 points and up. Sometimes they first accept those with highest points, but many go to other schools, then they start accepting those in a lower range. You never know. You should apply. Good luck!
I'm applying as well. Since I have to do some cleaning up on my transcripts via course repetition and academic renewal, my counselor suggested, I hold off on applying to the schools that use the multi-criteria screening until I have my GPA fixed.
Anywho, I'm an LVN but decided to do the RN program all over because I went to American Career College in LA and it was a terrible school and I'd feel more competent as a nurse doing it over.
So Good Luck, I'm excited as well. LACN is my first choice.
Hello my fellow nursing student hopefuls! I too am applying for the 2014 LA County program. I called today and they confirmed they have my application. Now its time for the waiting game! I think the scariest part of this process is my transcripts not arriving by the deadline. I ordered them last week and as of today, they do not have them but I am sure it takes some time. My high school and one of my colleges were out of state so those will take more time than the local ones. My second scare.....THE TEAS! EEEEEKS. LOL.
Woo-hoo, I just got an invitation from the county to take the teas test with them :-). They have three dates for the teas, two of which are in February and only one in March (March 1st). I will schedule my teas on March 1st as I need as much time as possible to prepare. Their invitation says to use an ATI center for the teas registration. Good luck to everybody! Cheers!
