Hello my fellow applicants!

I'm a second time applicant to LACCONAH, I've been down this road once and came back with a lot of knowledge. From my experience this is going to be a waiting game so enjoy the ride! Y'all got questions, comments, concerns, information, don't be shy to engage. Estamos juntos en esto!

I can direct message you the the name and number of the person I spoke to today. You can  call her tomorrow. Ask her why if the cutoff was 86 you where not selected. I don't understand why having the pts you have you where not selected. I believe they only give interviews to about 100 applicants. So that might explain how they don't have to do a lottery in the case some pple end up with same pts.

I'll reach out to you if I can't get an answer from them. I'm gonna call them tomorrow morning and ask.

Btw, I saw your post about nightingale. I legit had no idea this school existed. Looking into it now, LOL.

I just sent it to you. Also look into west governors and don't forget chamberlain too. These are all private though so might be a little costly.

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

 The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success in your Nursing program!

Hey guys, this is the link to the facebook page if you would like to join! ?

@Chuparosa22 Do you know if a Spring 23 thread has been made? I can't find one for CONAH

@sweet_bread_crumbs

hi there,

I don’t believe a forum has been made. I’m not applying for this cycle as I’m retaking my sciences which will expire soon.
I encourage you to start one yourself! If not just wait a few weeks. Best of luck!

@Chuparosa22

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about that! Sending you my best wishes that you get done with everything soon?Thanks for the great advice on the forum btw.

Heres the link for Spring '23 at LACCONAH if anyone is interested:

Hi everyone!

1- How soon after the application deadline did you receive an invite for an interview?

2- When you did received your invite for an interview, how much advance warning did you get from the invite for an interview to the actual interview date?

I am hoping and praying I receive an e-mail for an interview this fall 2022.

What was your interview like?!

Hi there!

I suck at interviews too. The only questions that were asked were “why you want to be a nurse?” And “why you want to go to this school?”. But your not asked both questions. I’ll get into this more tomorrow.

Would you happen to know what the written portion was like? Like did it ask any specific question?

Hi everyone, I just got accepted to the program for the fall and I was hoping you can answer a question. At what point is the drug testing done? And do you know what drugs they test for? Since weed is legal, is that still something they test for. Hope someone can get back to me! Thanks.

This is going to sound weird, but they don't drug test. I don't think they do it unless they're suspicious of you being on drugs. Hope that helps! And congrats!! Best nursing program and clinical experience ever!
