  1. I got no call either, but I already got accepted to WGU, im going to go there.
  2. Yeah im outside laccd. I am applying to wgu now. I think im going to get into that one. The only thing is that clinicals will be out if state, so I will be traveling for my clinical rotations.
  3. I didn’t get nothing from pierce either. But I was expecting it since I didn't get my transcripts evaluated in time. I applied to 11 haven't gotten into none. Im waiting on 3 more I got rejected from 8
  4. Hello Everyone, I am considering WGU prelicensure BSN program. If I do decide to apply I would have to travel out of state for my clinicals. I am willing to do this but would like to hear from others students who are currently in the program. How has the traveling for clinical been? Approximately how many times will you be traveling for clinicals throughout the program? For the skills labs are your going to the Santa Ana location, or how does it work for skill lab days?
  5. I just sent it to you. Also look into west governors and don't forget chamberlain too. These are all private though so might be a little costly.
  6. I can direct message you the the name and number of the person I spoke to today. You can call her tomorrow. Ask her why if the cutoff was 86 you where not selected. I don't understand why having the pts you have you where not selected. I believe they only give interviews to about 100 applicants. So that might explain how they don't have to do a lottery in the case some pple end up with same pts.
  7. Thank you! I will stay positive. Honesty I don't want to apply to this school again. But I will continue trying at other schools. Im looking into nightingale and wgu
  8. Lmao I like the way you think ??? honestly im not applying again. Im sure they won't care but they left me with a completely bad impression from what I actually thought of the program. If I do decide to go back and get higher grades for some classes it won't be for this school. But hey it won't hurt for you to try it. Maybe you can get an interview again LOL
  9. Thats does not even make since, you should've been selected if your points where at 89. From what I understood of my conversation with her whoever had 86 or more should've been offered a position. I would call if I was you to try and figure out why you didn't get selected if you had the points for it. If they where really a fair program, you should've gotten selected for a spot. I saw someone who had 84 pts before the interview get selected. This is why I am saying that they try to make it seem like there selection process is fair when in reality it is not. Instead of actually going based on the skills, essay and how well you did on the interview they go based on if the person that interviewed you liked you or not. That is not very fair in my opinion.
  10. Hi I know this is off topic but can you give me some insight as to your experience at wester governers and the clinicals. Where did you go for clinicals? Was it pricey for you? Was it worth it? About how much did you end up paying for the program?
  11. I spoke to someone there today and basically she said you either pass the interview or you don't. This is different from what they state in there website where it says that you get the chance to receive UP TO 5 POINTS. Nowhere does it state that you either get 0 or 5 or that is a pass or fail. Unless im crazy and not understanding it correctly I honestly think many of the people conducting the interviews are biased. It is more on wether they like you or not, not on the interview not on the skills not on how effectively you answer the essay questions. If your applying next semester the interview points carry over which means if you got 0 your points will stay at 0. You won't be given another shot at interviewing. I am willing to better my stats but not for this school, I will work on them for other programs instead. Although im sure they won't care either way, I won't be applying here again next semester. The whole process just does not make sense to me and I feel like it was not a very fair process. Good luck to those of you who decide to reapply. Im just venting!
  12. Thank you for your encouraging words!! ?❤️ I will stay positive ?
  13. Thanks! Hopefully next time we will have better luck. Or maybe this was not meant to be and we will be accepted somewhere else. Im going to just stay positive. Honestly I pretty much cried when I didn't get accepted. I was so confident I had it, that when I got nothing in my email it took me by suprise. ? I got discouraged for a bit but im back to a more motivated state. Hopefully soon I will find the right program for me, or the program where I am meant to be in. No everything just carried over. They change on there end the semester your applying for. All they need from you is your updated transcripts if any, and your letter stating you want to be considered for the next application cycle.
