Hello future nurses!

I am starting this new thread for everybody that is planning to apply to LACC's nursing program for Fall 2014. How many of you are planning to apply for Fall 2014? I'll be finishing my last prerequisite (chemistry) this winter and hope to apply in February. Good luck to us all!

when are we going to be notified of our status?

They said we would get notified beginning of May.

Beginning of May seems not that far away. I applied to LA County as well (not my first choice, but they have point system, which is fare), they notify applicants in the middle of June, if we will get lucky. Good luck to everyone!

That is the reason why i applied to County as well :-). Their program is much more expensive, so LACC would probably be the best option for me, if I could choose :-). I would be happy to get into any program. With these lottery based programs, you never know.

Yeah, May is only 4 weeks away :-)

I would be so happy to get into any program as well. I'm tired to wait... I just want to get in and out asap. LACC is my first choice because the school is closest to me, also I took all prerequisites over there. Its like my second home.I don't have "chemistry" with LA county lol . I don't know why ))) . oh ,I know why, because I almost steped into human feces that was right on a walk way :***: .Well, I know that it says nothing about their program but still , weird location :roflmao:

I think they might start notifying next week. let's hope so. The wait is excruciating :x3:. I did not apply to LAHC. I applied to PCC and La County.

Apparently, if you are accepted you will get both a phone call and a letter in the mail, everyone else should get just letters. That's what some of my friends, which got in previous years, told me. Last year they started calling end of April. Fingers crossed!

Weren't you accepted to CSULA? Did you accept their admission offer or are you still considering CCs?

Yes, i accepted CSULA's offer. i am considering CCs to be my safety net, in case something happens. Just in case.

I applied to LAHC. The wait is killing me. They said they will notify us in May and not to call. I have been obsessively checking my emails since I turned in my application. ?

May is right around the corner. I will be checking this thread and my email every day ahhh! Anyways, I know LACC accepts 40 students and then every one else as alternates...does anyone know how many students are accepted at LA HC ?
