Hello future nurses!

I am starting this new thread for everybody that is planning to apply to LACC's nursing program for Fall 2014. How many of you are planning to apply for Fall 2014? I'll be finishing my last prerequisite (chemistry) this winter and hope to apply in February. Good luck to us all!

Oh ok. Are you applying anywhere else? Do you have a preference?

I am also applying to Pasadena City College and County College of Nursing and Allied Health. LACC is my home college as I finished all of my prerequisites there and it's fairly close to my home. County College is about the same distance for me and they have a great program, so those two are on top of my list. Pasadena would be last as it's far from my home, but it's a backup option :-). What about you?

I live in Murrieta. I am applying to every school but Lattc. They don't seem genuine.

Oh, yeah, I didn't want to apply to LATTC either even though it is close to me :-). If you could choose the school for your nursing program, which one would it be?

Hello! I am applying at LACC nursing program. I did submit my transcripts and I was wondering if I also have to submit the one from Southwest and Harbor College where I registered for online classes and drop them before getting a W on my transcript. It shows "no work completed" on the unofficial transcript online. Does anyone know if we have to submit those as well?

When I attended their orientation session they said we had to submit ALL transcripts from all colleges attended. They said that some students try to hide some of their transcripts, but since they have social security numbers, they can check and then they disqualify applicants. The counselor was very specific about that and repeated many times that all the transcripts must be submitted. So, if you haven't submitted all of them by now, it is still not too late as the deadline is until March 28th. I got a call from them yesterday saying that I was qualified for their lottery system (I already took the teas). Good Luck!

Just got the call to pick up an application! Anyone know exactly what is on the application because I plan to fill it out over there and just turn it in the same day I get it because I don't want to drive all the way to the campus again? I know for sure to attach high school transcripts (because I don't have any other degrees).

I'm planning to pick it up tmrw :)

I believe you are supposed to write a 500 word essay and attach it to your application, but I am not sure about that. You may want to call them to make sure.

I plan on finishing that last paperwork on Thursday or Friday.
