  1. Hello all! I turned in my application the second week of April and just finished the phone interview this past week...seems like the August start date will be pushed a couple of months later, ah!
  2. Hi everyone! I've been MIA on this thread. Congrats to those who were conditionally accepted and good luck to others who are still waiting. I am going to send in my declination form, because I too feel that financially CSUB may not be in my best interest. I'm going to a program closer to home and will plan on transferring to a BSN program after :) my deadline to accept/reject is the 15th. So I guess more alternates will be hearing from them very soon.
  3. THANKS so much! The wait is finally over. They mailed me a letter, and I received it yesterday. Ahhh you should totally call them to see what's up. I mean they should have a list of the 131 in order at the office and tell you what number you are....
  4. Hi all. I got notified for LACC and I'm in. Since I got accepted at a nursing program closer to home, I will be forfeiting my spot at LACC. From what I remember, the counselor said that they start giving alternate numbers after 40...so 41, 42, 43, all the way to 131. So I'm confused if 44 is good or not. Anyways I know I'm giving my spot to someone who may really need is. Good luck!
  5. May is right around the corner. I will be checking this thread and my email every day ahhh! Anyways, I know LACC accepts 40 students and then every one else as alternates...does anyone know how many students are accepted at LA HC ?
  6. I'm so ready for notifications to come within the weeks....!! Did anyone else apply to LAHC?
  7. Same here, isabellaboho. I got a call as well and emailed my teas score even though I turned it in with my application.
  8. Hi! I also applied to pcc.
  9. Just got the call to pick up an application! Anyone know exactly what is on the application because I plan to fill it out over there and just turn it in the same day I get it because I don't want to drive all the way to the campus again? I know for sure to attach high school transcripts (because I don't have any other degrees). I'm planning to pick it up tmrw :)
  10. May/June is so late! Hoping this comment bumps this topic so maybe there will be more responders =)
  11. Thanks! 86 is pretty darn good for studying last minute! I know some people who failed it the first time because they wanted to 'see' how the test was going to be like. I'm all done with my prereqs and just taking elective this semester. CSUB is pretty much my top school--I would have to move--but they just notify so late compared to the CCs that I applied to (and the CCs are so much closer to where I live). Is CSUB your first choice?
  12. I got 90%. personally, it took me about two months of prep but so glad to get it over with.
  13. It should be on this page under pre-nursing advisor :) https://www.csub.edu/nursing/Directory/index.html and I did take the TEAS. All sent in...now just waiting!
  14. Hi there! I also took the A3 at a different CSU. I emailed the prenursing advisor and was told that any CSU critical thinking fulfills the requirement. Maybe you should email her too
  15. I took the TEAS as well! I need to finish the app too. Is csub your first choice?
