I was just looking at that now but I'm a little confused! Do we need to get coverage for the summer as well or wait and get the fall coverage when it becomes available!? Because there is no info yet for Fall!? And i called the lady from the insurance agency and she said the Fall insurance doesn't become available till later in the summer and its start date is Aug 20! So is that cutting it too close to the start date?
Thanks Jess, and sorry I had to goto the gym. Yeah, I emailed them, but they haven't returned my email, but as I understand it, even though it's cryptic, we need to get the Summer insurance as well as the Fall, but I am waiting to hear back from both the insurance agency and the SON.

Oh yeah! I just got my blue card in the mail!

Congrats! I'm still waiting... I called BON and the lady said it was sent out 2days ago! Hope its coming tomorrow...

I got fingerprinted on 4/25 so it is definitely taking a few weeks.

Hey guys! Brian, Yea, at the NH orientation today we wrote down and told the advisor what our first, second, third choices were just for summer class You were right, the book list is insane!! I was told this morning that I am number 8 on alternate list now. Moving on up and praying I get in!!

Also, NH doesn't require health insurance which i thought was kind of weird..clinical sites don't ask for it

I got fingerprinted on 4/25 so it is definitely taking a few weeks.

I've got mine on 4/25 too! Hope it's coming tomorrow..

I just figured out that we need to get access code( nursing skills online Version 3.0) but its not released until 7/15! Our Summer class will begin before that

For the NH students, are we supposed to sign ourselves up for the fall classes now? When is the deadline for all of the paperwork due? (shots, medical eval., cpr, etc). I now wish that I could have gone to yesterdays orientation. :confused:

The book list for North Harris is completely different. They gave us a page both front and back with all the books we would need and said to expect to pay between $850-1300 for them. They did say you could use the current edition or one edition back which is nice but they said you are still responsible for assignments and pages that may not correspond between editions.

Everything needs to be uploaded to Certified background no later than Thursday, July 18th at 4pm. They emphasized not waiting till the last minute to get this done as they will have "no sympathy" to people struggling last minute.

Also, they told us we would be notified over the next couple of weeks about registration for summer and fall courses. They said to be prepared to pay for the summer course on the day you register and payment for fall classes are due by August 16th at 4:30pm.

I am going to the June 5th orientation and talked to the adviser yesterday about enrollment. She said you can't enroll in anything until you go to orientation.
