Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

I had them done 3 weeks ago.

Sorry for late response! well, actually I don't really remember, but I believe when I met the advisor at BLDG C, I asked her about insurance, and she did it for me.

I am coordinating with the Nursing Dept. for my insurance. *******is the contact and she was going to send me the link today, but hasn't yet, but expect by the end of the week she will. But I would be interested to know with whom you spoke as a backup.

I spoke with *********today and she told me the same thing, I think they're still trying to finalize an insurance agreement with BCBS. Let me know if you hear anything. I'm waiting on that same email too!

Hi everyone. Another relocation question. We are going to be checking out places in the Champions neighborhood and Kleinbrook. Does anyone know how "quiet" and "safe" these areas are?

Sorry all for the late response..It was so awesome seeing some of you at moco orientation! and lmao it was ME that brought their mom! She has type 1 diabetes and I took her to a doctor's appt during my lunch break and it just turned into a mom/daughter date-thing. Anyways, I am SUPER thankful to be an official accepted student instead of an alternate. I wasnt in lonestar's system as part of the ADN program the next day when I tried to register, however. It took all day, but I managed to get into my classes. I still havent registered for my clinical site though, because by the time I was clear in the computer...all that was left was conroe. but Congrats to all accepted and I cant wait to see some of you in class!

Congratulations on your acceptance Heather!! That is so exciting, what a cool moment your mom was able to be there for!! Glad you were able to finally get into classes.

haha! no yikes girl! Im happy that our classes are specialized enough to where the majority arent new hs grads. (more power to the ones that are there tho) It just shows how hard it is to get this far, this stuff aint easy!
