Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

When i got home last night i typed in all the books on amazon and found all of them except for the pediatric books for a little under $480 bucks including the recommended ones! Not bad at all..and i think i could have gone a cheaper route if i got more used.

I'm bit confused about first 2 books of the list. Are they same textbook? I thought 2nd one looks like with access code, etc. we don't have to buy both, do we?

Does anyone know a good health insurance company to go with i have to sign up and get some coverage!!

Im in the student insurance by bluecross blueshield. It cost about $500 half year.

I am contracting through the school so school charges insurance with tuition every fall and spring semester.

Sorry for late response! well, actually I don't really remember, but I believe when I met the advisor at BLDG C, I asked her about insurance, and she did it for me.

Hey Kevann, After orientation tomorrow can you text a pic of the schedules we have to choose from or email me any paperwork that has the schedules on it? I know I'm gonna get last choice since I'm going to the later one but I need to start moving my schedule/vacations around for work and getting childcare help set up. Thank you so much girl! Cant wait to hear about it!

Hey! I actually went to the lonestar website and searched the same course numbers montgomery offers and all the classes come up! It wont let you register but you can add them to your cart that way when its time to register, its already done!! But..i will absolutely be texting/sending info your way!

He shouldn't have any problems. At the Montgomery campus there was a young girl who brought her mother. No one seemed to mind.
