haha! no yikes girl! Im happy that our classes are specialized enough to where the majority arent new hs grads. (more power to the ones that are there tho) It just shows how hard it is to get this far, this stuff aint easy!

Sorry all for the late response..It was so awesome seeing some of you at moco orientation! and lmao it was ME that brought their mom! She has type 1 diabetes and I took her to a doctor's appt during my lunch break and it just turned into a mom/daughter date-thing. Anyways, I am SUPER thankful to be an official accepted student instead of an alternate. I wasnt in lonestar's system as part of the ADN program the next day when I tried to register, however. It took all day, but I managed to get into my classes. I still havent registered for my clinical site though, because by the time I was clear in the computer...all that was left was conroe. but Congrats to all accepted and I cant wait to see some of you in class!

Good luck with your finals Jessi29! Im so pumped for orientation(s) next week!! I have two to go in one week so work is not happy about that...but at least they are paying for my cpr class!

Thanks! I have my appt at sylvan this Saturday to get fingerprinted so it will be nice to cross something off the list!

I am number 3. I hope we both make the cut!!! Also, if anyone can help with this.... I received my fast form from alt. moco and initiated that before receiving the code for tomball's fingerprinting...... My certified background profile is also registered through tomball but is the same stuff that moco is asking for.... Will the campuses be able to coordinate records?? Will I need to forward everything from moco to tomball and vice versa?? Thanks for the help!

Okay so after the whirlwind that was yesterday I figured I'd update you all...... After all of you wonderful ladies let me know about tomball sending out emails (I had been neglecting checking it due to a pending divorce and a persistent exhusband , my lonestar acct forwards to my personal email...) I finally read back to about two weeks ago and found an acceptance letter from Tomball! yay! Except as I kept reading I quickly found out that the deadline to confirm intend was on the 11th...... so after spending a whole night crying and beating myself up for missing that stupid email I gathered myself together and started making calls this morning. Suprisingly, the woman I spoke with said they have been having alot of problems with the Angel email system and just told me to fax the form and I still have my space!!! What a relief! So now I have paid for my background check and Im happy to get the ball rolling. There is still a small part of me that hopes to be an alternate for montgomery, but after a scare like that I am just so thankful to be going at all. I know how hard we all have worked just to be able to apply and being faced with having to wait another year........whew I am just happy to be in the program with you all!

Email??! Holy crap I wonder if it is my lonestar email or the one I put on my application..... Jeez maybe I should check those things every now and then. Lemme go sort through my mess ill let you guys know!

@jessiwebb - I know girl maybe we can squeak by!! Are there any prospective Tomball ADN students on here? I never heard what their cut offs were and now not hearing from either campus is driving me nuts!

Wow I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one over here freaking out! I am waiting to hear from either Montgomery or tomball ( moco first choice, tomball second, 11.41 score ) From the looks of other scores, I will be BARELY squeezing by if I make it into my first choice. But the waiting is killing me!! Is there anything additional I should be doing besides biting my fingernails into a stump? Also so glad to hear some of you have already received good news!! Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of us waiting.....

Jessiwebb, We have the exact same score! I turned in my application today with Montgomery being my first choice and tomball my second. I was really worried I needed an 11.5 + for Montgomery but it all depends on the group of applicants I guess. Also, I would love to hear if anyone caught a discrepancy in the scoring as I did.... My GPA average is 3.6666666....... But it was rounded down to 3.6.... All the other scores include a hundredths place so I'm wondering why I essentially have a GPA score of 3.60 opposed to 3.67?? It's petty I know but when Im freaking out like this every point counts!!
