Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

The North Harris campus has a FB page, but I been tried to get into the group and still nothing. I am in the one at Kingswood though. At first, they said my email was wrong which wasn't correct. I sent them an email with both and still nothing. So, let me know if y'all have better luck.

Awesome! I got a letter regarding my DO and 2 blue cards lol. So happy you don't have to go through 7 months of ulcers lol... I honestly think someone dropped the ball. ..

Hello everyone. I have been stalking this thread since I applied. I, too, have gotten my acceptance from North Harris. I grew up in the DFW area and have lived in Waco for a while because I got my bachelor's degree from Baylor.

I would appreciate it if someone could recommend apartments for me near campus with reasonable rates. I am married with a son in elementary school. I have heard good things about Spring ISD. I was seduced by the size and rates of Excelsior apartments on Ella street, but then I heard scary things about Greenpoints, and I think Excelsior is close to Greenpoints.

Did anyone get an e mail regarding te social security verification. It looks so weird. It says completed so I guess

everything is good?? I do not know

Mine had a green traffic light pic and and two columns that I couldn't click on that said verified... weird but I guess I'm ok

I had that as well and then on the front page it said complete. I paid for the background check too but we didn't have to do that

Does anyone know if we paid for and registered for a drug screen through North Harris and we made alternate list for Montgomery, do we need to register and pay for drug screen through Montgomery too??

I wouldn't think so. We didn't have to do two background checks or two ss verifications so I would hope not.

Hi Jessica. Thanks for your reply. Although foundations looks like a great place, it is over our budget. I thought I found a place I liked, then I found out it is in Aldine school district. I heard that isn't a good district. Lol I am going crazy
