Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

It takes quite a bit longer if you do a DO. I just got an email from NH saying I don't need to complete the fast pass so I've done everything, now I just have to wait til orientation. I actually received two blue cards in the mail lol. Dont worry Kevann00, I made myself sick worrying about it... it should come before you know it!

Ok, I havent recieved an email from North Harris with the fast pass attached nor have I recieved an email stating that i do not need to complete one. And still no blue card. Should i call the campus or the BON to inquire?

I got my blue card yesterday!

wait so after how long after doing your fingerprint did you get ur blue card? i did my fingerprint just a few days ago..

In case anyone is wondering, I emailed NH and she said it was a question for the BON. I just called them and the lady told me that my background check came back on the 25th (i sent off my DO on the 1st and my check was cashed on the 3rd) and that it came back clear. But because i disclosed a statement and court document, i will now have to go through the process of the DO. I wish i didn't disclose the information but i wanted to be safe. She said it will take 15 days after my background check came back to transfer to the right person then 45 days after that to clear it up (best case) so that puts me right at the end of July. Hopefully ill get it in time to start the program- If i don't die from a heart attack or a stomach ulcer by then..

i searched for it and nothing came up then i tried to make a group for north harris but i couldn't because i'd have to add at least one person to start a group but none of my friends belong in that group.. :/

I did mine in Oct bc of a DO and just received my blue card 2 days ago. It took 15 min. Fyi, don't put lotion on your hands before going in haha. Did it at Conroe.

I'm sorry it's going to take that long for you. It's good you called though and got some answers.
