Hi everyone!
I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.
I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?
Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years
Jen
Hello everyone. I have been stalking this thread since I applied. I, too, have gotten my acceptance from North Harris. I grew up in the DFW area and have lived in Waco for a while because I got my bachelor's degree from Baylor.I would appreciate it if someone could recommend apartments for me near campus with reasonable rates. I am married with a son in elementary school. I have heard good things about Spring ISD. I was seduced by the size and rates of Excelsior apartments on Ella street, but then I heard scary things about Greenpoints, and I think Excelsior is close to Greenpoints.
Welcome and congrats on getting accepted!!!!!! I'm not sure if we can actually give names on here... I got a warning for trying to solicit my husband being a realtor lol. I can't personally recommend any in that area and I've heard bad things about greenspoint but have never had an issue there... there are bad parts in every town. However, all of my in-laws either retired from the spring ISD or moved to different districts because supposedly its not what it used to be. You can look a little further north and go near the woodlands area, they have better schools and depending on where you're at, it can be a 15 min drive also.

I can ask my mother-in-law and the aunts and uncles what elementary schools are good and you can go from there. Hope this helps. Ill be happy to give you my email too if you would like.
Thank you so much for your reply. I would very much appreciate it if you could get me your email and that info from your aunts. Thank you so much!
Ahh I'm anxiously awaiting my blue card! I would come North and move into The Woodlands. I grew up here and went to CISD school districts. They are one of the better ones for sure. Stay around sawdust/rayford (sawdust is the nicer side) and its about a 15 minute drive to North Harris. My sister lived in the apartments right off of budde road (Camden something I think. There is 2 right next to each other that are nice) and loved them.
