Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

For those of you that have already gone to do your fingerprinting, how long did it take once you arrived at the place? I have an appt. to go get mine done tomorrow. Also, how long does it take to get the blue card in the mail?

I went 2 or 3 weeks ago on a Friday and still had not received my blue card. My appointment was at noon and I showed up a little early. I was in and out in maybe 15 minutes. I went to the Conroe center L1 identity solutions. Two young girls working, sweet as can be. I was nervous a little and it ended up being a very smooth process. 2 people in front of me and they got them back right away then me. They take your picture too to send along with your fingerprints.

I got mine yesterday took 10 mins! Did it at 1960 and champions at the Sylavan learning center.. Wish I had known about taking a picture, I came straight from the gym, no makeup and wearing a hat which they made me take off! Can you say prefect mug shot photo! Lol

I got email that my fingerprint has been rejected... so I have to retake my fingerprint tomorrow again;( boo!

Thanks! 10-15 min. is not bad at all! I was afraid I would be there half the day. I'm going to the one at 1960 and Champions, too. I'll be sure to look good for my pic. lol

I got email from L-1 enrollment service.

I did mine in Oct bc of a DO and just received my blue card 2 days ago. It took 15 min. Fyi, don't put lotion on your hands before going in haha. Did it at Conroe.

I am number 3. I hope we both make the cut!!! Also, if anyone can help with this.... I received my fast form from alt. moco and initiated that before receiving the code for tomball's fingerprinting...... My certified background profile is also registered through tomball but is the same stuff that moco is asking for.... Will the campuses be able to coordinate records?? Will I need to forward everything from moco to tomball and vice versa?? Thanks for the help!

I called moco last week and asked a similar question and she said all they need to see is your blue card..doesn't matter which campus you get it through

Thanks! I have my appt at sylvan this Saturday to get fingerprinted so it will be nice to cross something off the list!

I bet they will start contacting alternates when the deadline is over... I think may 6th?!?! Please let us know when you get the call you got into moco;) !!!!!!
