Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

Wow! That's crazy..I wish NH would send out our email giving us the go ahead to get things started..or moco would call me and accept me into their program :)

Has anyone that is going to Moco signed up for their Certified People account?? It has the list of 15 things we need to upload, and it says its all due by 4/28. Is this accurate? Because we just got our letter last week and they want us to have all that stuff by the 28. Like the physical, cpr, all our shot records and such!!? Has anyone talked to the school about this yet? Beause I am going have to bust my butt this week trying to get all this stuff done and its finals week approaching!! Stress much!?

Jessi29, mine also says due 4/28. I'm gonna ask nursing department tomorrow, but they said immunization redords should be completed by the beginning of summer class. So that due date doesn't meka sense to me.

that's what i was thinking too!! I was like dang 10 days to get all this stuff done and we haven't even had orientation yet! Let me know what they tell you!

I turned all my stuff in and did my fingerprinting in the first week of March. I have not heard anything from the BON yet. I just received an email from the Cyfair Nursing Dept. that I do not need to do the background check and should receive an updated blue card soon. I can't believe that you haven't gotten anything yet! That is crazy long! Did it have to be turned over for review? I've heard that takes forever! Hopefully you hear something soon. Did the nursing dept send you an email that stated anything about it?

where did you guys do your cpr class at or sign up at???

I still have not recieved an e mail from north harris.. have any of you ??

To be honest, I think someone dropped the ball. It didn't have to go to investigations bc I didn't have yo pay the extra fee. I FINALLY received my letter from them yesterday stating that I am clear! So excited it finally came in!

I would call the school. I really doubt you have to have all of that done by next week. I think we had until we started class in July!

i emailed NH about the email we were supposed to be getting about the fingerprinting and they told me that they have not received anything from BON and when they do they will email us let us know.
