Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

i emailed NH about the email we were supposed to be getting about the fingerprinting and they told me that they have not received anything from BON and when they do they will email us let us know.

I just received my FAST pass from NH.

Hmm...just checked my Lonestar email and didn't get an email, although i did my fingerprinting already so maybe that's a good sign ill be getting a blue card soon. At the nursing meeting i attended at Montgomery earlier this year, the lady said they actually ran out of alternates at Montgomery for 2012..not sure how accurate that is though.

Stephalump- Any idea what the alternates chances are for Montgomery?

They did, last year and the year before, I believe. But last year was strange. Some people who came in on the wait list had higher scores than people who were accepted right away. I think there was some sort of mistake made.

I asked about due date of certifiedprofile.com to the lady in the counter and she said it was wrong. They are trying to contact people who is running the site to fix it. She told me we will keep correcting our stuffs. Actual dead line is June (I didn't ask the date ;().

ok well that is a relief to hear!! I was completely stressing out thinking i had to get all this stuff done in a week! Thanks Aruru!

The card just arrived. I got a letter for my DO yesterday, and I got the blue post card today.

I had signed up for a class this Thursday for CPR, but now i might just cancel and wait till this semester is over since i don't have to rush!

Cy-Fair people...I called the nursing dept. at Cy-Fair and asked about the drug testing form, and she said that our instructor will give us all of that information later.
