Lonestar Fall 2013 hopefuls

Hi everyone!

I just submitted my application for the Fall 2013 Lonestar College basic track ADN program. LSC-Montgomery is my first choice, followed by LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball.

I applied with an 11.81. Has anyone else out there applied, or are you preparing to apply?

Looking forward to starting a supportive and informative Lonestar thread, as applicants have the past few years

So if there was no FAST form attached to the email, there is no need to submit any fingerprinting and I should get a blue card in the mail?

You have to get fingerprints taken in order to receive a blue card, if you have previously gotten them taken then its my understanding the BON will automatically send you a blue card. Im not sure about the Fast Pass, my letter from CyFair doesn't say anything about a fast pass. I remember when I went to LVN orientation they gave us the fast pass with instructions for fingerprints. CyFairs Orientation isn't until July 10 which is after everything else is due July 5! I am not liking this whole figure it out yourself business lol I wish they had more instruction or an earlier orientation that would explain the process!

It's on the link attached to your offical acceptance letter on NH 2013 nursing there are two links about background and fingerprinting. I scheduled mines today a litle over $40.

I don't have any link above "background and finger-printing" on my acceptance letter.

Is there a link to it on NH website?

Haha yeah I wish there was some more clarity! I have gotten fingerprinted before, but I guess I will schedule an appointment just in case, it said my would only be $10

The link is on the NH website. Follow the North Harris nursing link on the acceptance letter and click "2013 admit" and the link will follow. If you accept you seat at NH and sign up for an orientation date, they will send you another email with further instruction

The website is l1id.com I believe. L1 identity solutions sends your prints electronically to the BON. You schedule and pay online with the code you get from the NH nursing website.

Did yall receive the instructions for the certifiedbackground.com as well or is this just a CyFair thing? It is confusing.

I don't think so. We have to do a social security check or something and the link also had aback ground check link so I just did it and paid already lol..wasn't sure if I was supposed to but it was only 30 or 40 bucks so I figured better safe than sorry!!! Everything is a little over whelming and confusing
