Lone Star Spring 2011

Okay, for all of us that did not get into the Lone Star Fall 2010 program and are trying again for the Spring...here we go again.

I'm retaking AP2 this summer (I have a B so now I want an A) to increase my points. After that I just don't know what else to do because I have all co-reqs completed, CPR done and Immunizations done. What are your plans to increase your chances of getting in for the Spring?

I will be at my mail box at 1pm on the dot! lol! Hopefully the mail has comes by then! Until then I am doing tons of house work to keep myself busy!!!! This is really killing me... I just need to know one way or the other! I wish my score was high enough that I didn't have to worry so much, but if past cut offs are a marker I am right on the line... We'll see very soon, I hope!

hey there all, i just joined the site...i also applied for the spring semester, first choice cy fair. i almost peed my pants when i read that the letters were being mailed out yesterday! I applied with an 11.74 so hopefully that will be good enough! Hopefully we'll all get to meet each other soon in person!

OMG I keep checking the forum to see if anyone got the mail today, its driving me insane!!!! Im about to leave the house to go down to the UT game at the stadium, but I will be checking my cell phone every 5 min to see if anyone got there letter!!!

Still no mail- I could've sworn they usually come by noon on Saturday!!! Wishful thinking I guess...

I'm attempting to get my office "nursing school ready" while I wait, mostly since I can see the mailboxes from there :)

I just got my mail and there was actually something from Lonestar. ha! But, it was a check from a class I dropped. I applied to KW, so wasn't expecting anything but my heart kicked in when I saw the return address. The best part is I forgot I was expecting a reimbursement, so it feels like free money!

Just got my mail for the day. Nothing from Cy-Fair. :( I live about 2 miles from the school so I was hoping I would get it early. Now the wait continues...Maybe it will be there on Monday?

I called the Nursing last monday...as I recall, they were supposed to start mailing out letters last friday...:uhoh3:
