I LOVE my Littman stethoscope. I pick up on murmurs that many others miss and I give a lot of credit to my L. Cardiology stethoscope. Best money I've spent!
Is that a cardiology III? Littman has Cardiology I, II, III. do you have a link.
Thank you
Pretty sure this is the one I have, it's been several years since I bought it. I have it engraved with my initials so I always know it's mine. http://www.amazon.com/3M-Littmann-Cardiology-Stethoscope-2160/dp/B000F4W1GW
Tank you
You're welcome. Here's an entire old thread about them. https://allnurses.com/nursing-scrubs-uniforms/just-got-my-202989-page7.html

The Classic II S.E. is a good stethoscope, I believe the acoustics are rated a 7/10 which is decent. I used that in nursing school and I know many nurses who use this. I wanted an upgrade, though, so I bought the Cardiology III.

I don't know about it being the best but I wouldn't trade mine for anything else.

I love my Littman Cardiology III. One day in nursing school I was using my "good enough" steth... when my co-sign nurse asked me what heart tone I heard and I had to admit I couldn't really hear that well, I bought a good one that day. It was embarrassing and called into question my assessment skills... no more cutting corners for me.

I just graduated from nursing school in may 2013. As a gift I received a littman 3100 electronic. It is fantastic. I hear heart and lung sounds so clearly and you can adjust the volume as well.
