...IN my office. My roof is leaking (melting ice and snow) and water is dripping down the inside of one of my windows, off the windowsill, and onto the floor. I have chux pads all over the floor, and an emesis basin in one spot to catch drips.
Luckliy, the dripping is happening behind me (while sitting at my desk), where students never walk.
Also, a GIANT icicle fell outside the same window, preceding the dripping, and I jumped about 3 feet in the air. My heart rate has just returned to normal.
Drip. Drip drip. Drip.
How is your day going? :)

Looking at mounds of snow outside my window NOT melting. I'm going to find some cheap spring decor for my office and hope that helps encourage spring to come!!!

Me too! Actually, my office in in the basement and I had flooding twice this fall due to heavy rain. When the 6'+ snow piles outside my window really finally start melting, I fear there will be a swimming pool in my office.

I have no windows to look out of or drip BUT I am between 3 kindergarten classes so my day is always interesting. Today is Dr. Seuss day so they are getting ready to eat green eggs and ham. I swear....if I see green egg vomit!! "Oh, the places you will go!"
Your day should almost be over....hang in there! :-)

I am in the middle of the kindergarten hall with no windows, also! We had Dr Seuss celebrations earlier this week.
When I want to see what's happening outside, I have to walk down to the lower grade playground and take a peek. GA rarely gets snow but we did have flurries one day so I stood and day-dreamed that school would get called off and watched the tiny flakes fall :)

Well today is green eggs and ham day here . . . breakfast line is way longer than usual . . . guess I know what I have to look forward to!
It was his birthday! My fave book to read to my kids is "The Sneeches". I read it when I went into my twins' first grade classrooms and all the kids loved it! In fact, it was right after MLK day and we tied it into civil rights.
