hi everyone! i'm holli. i took boards on june 13th and passed with 75 questions. i am starting work on july 18th at the only hospital i ever wanted to work for. it is a great pediatric facility! i will be on the (post-op) surgical floor, and we also have all of the endocrine kids. also, they just added an epilepsy monitoring unit, for overnight monitoring and for the brain mapping they are doing. i expressed an interest in that, so they will cross-train me in that unit as well. i can't wait to get started!

so, tell me about you...

Hi Everyone,

I graduated in Dec, took boards in march convinced myself i flunked at 75 questions and lo and behold i passed..the waiting was definitely the worst..

I start in a step down cardiac unit in June, I have worked in the lab at this hospital for >20 years so this will be a exciting and nervewracking change for me. All I can say is that I am glad the brain cells are still functioning at this late date!!!!!!!!!!!!! good luck to all

[bANANA]Congratulations![/bANANA] The computer shut off for me too at 75 and I thought for sure that I failed. Those were the longest three days of my life.

Congrats. 75 is bittersweet at the instant. Part of you says...if I failed at least I did not have to sit through 299 questions! But our first good mind won the first battle...the NCLEX question by question.

Oh on the brain thing...older minds are robust. Younger ones just have more RAM! (Down with agism!)

Hi, I am Dotti and I just passed my LPN NCLEX last Thursday. I have a job in a small community hospital in a suburb of Tulsa, OK. My job is on a med/surg floor but I sometimes get to float to ER. This is my second career after many years in IT. I will go on to become an RN starting in the fall and will probably go on to get a masters degree. I have to work on not getting overwhelmed and thinking I have to know everything the first day...

Hi,

I graduated April 29th and STILL no ATT! I am now officially employed as a GN though and SO happy to be beginning my career! (Quite nervous though)

I also have two little girls and a pretty great husband...

....just waiting for the ATT so I can pass NCLEX and put the RN I've worked so hard for after my name!

Also, as I have been preparing for the NCLEX I have found this site a tremendous support. Thank you!
