Lehman College 2018 Fall Generic BSN/ABSN applicants!

Published

Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!

I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!

No problem! Yes, your results should be in tomorrow hopefully. To be honest, I didn't receive any forms in my email. I'm kind of worried about that. I'm sure it depends on what hospital we're going to but everyone I know received some sort of form to fill out. I'm going to ask the office tomorrow. Hopefully someone else on here can answer your question.

What hospital did you get? My email said nothing about a form, just that my hospital requires a fit test.

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) was the one who sent out the emails, and no one in the office knows about it and what exactly she wants to be done with it. Even (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) doesn't know.

Which hospital were you placed in? My email said nothing about Appendix A and B? But maybe I can ask to help you out....

I am going to be in St. Lukes Hospital. Which Hospital were you assigned?

St. Lukes and you?

I was assigned to Mt.Vernon....

Everyone's email must have said something different. I had about 8 attachments in my email.

Same! My email only mentioned a Fit Test and nothing else. I got St. Barnabas. What about you?

Ah, okay. I guess I'll just assume everything was done right. If push comes to shove, I'll email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) about it.

Me too, I got St.Barnabas

I have a good friend that has Bronx Lebanon. Anyone that has St. Luke's hit me up and shot an email @ [email protected]. How was the fit-test in Lehman? They have to schedule me for that.

How cool! Maybe we're in the same clinical group. I guess this means we're one of the lucky ones; we don't have any extra paper work to fill out.

It wasn't bad. There were about ten people in each group they called up. I had to get re-tested twice (on the same day). The first time the mask didn't fit me (they had different sizes), the second time my mouth wasn't rinsed out enough, and the third time it fit like a charm. Make sure you bring a bottle of water to rinse your mouth out during the test. For those who got it right the first time, it should only take about 5 minutes, 10 max.

Hello everyone. I was in the office today and asked about our uniforms. I was told we only wear our uniform for clinical (this includes on-canpus lab), not for lecture.
