Hello, everyone applying to Lehman's BSN/ABSN programs for Fall 2018!
I am currently working on my application and will very soon take HESI. I know application period does not start until January 1, but I thought I would create a thread so we could get in touch and support each other on the way to (keeping fingers crossed!) being accepted!
You're welcome. I'm not in the nursing program yet. I'm playing the waiting game along with you all. *fingers crossed* I am, however, a second degree student and had to complete my pre-reqs at Lehman, so I've filled out the FAFSA and the loan app to help pay for the classes.
Oh okay! How did you do on the HESI?
Hey guys, I'm a current ABSN Lehman student. I'm going to get straight to the point.
Make sure your GPA is 3.5 or above for the generic. For the accelerated, you need at least a 3.74. I'm not too sure actually, but that was the cutoff last year because that was my GPA.
For the HESI, make sure you get above 75 on each of the sections (Math, A&P, and Reading Comp.). Make sure to get at least an 800 in your Critical Thinking section. They won't take you if you don't. I didn't get in my first try because I had under an 800.
I will post from time to time, but I wish the best of luck to every one. I'm going to try to come to orientation, but there will be an upcoming generic senior classmate to talk to you about mentors and whatnot.

Thank you so much for that info!
